Apple's iTunes Store continues to be the dominant player for music downloads worldwide, but other download stores in Australia are getting in on the action.
Telstra's BigPond Music is about to be joined by MOG, or Music on the Go, and it will offer a music streaming service via a membership. Rather than buying select music, users just log in and listen to anything stored in the database.
Similar services on offer to Australan customers include Microsoft's Zune, Nokia Music, Spotify and 7digital.
