The NSW Food Authority has issued a Prohibition Order which prevents the business from trading until further notice.
The Authority’s investigation into the potential cause of the outbreak is ongoing.
Simple tips from our food expert, to keep your family safe:
• Keep raw meat separate to other food in the fridge.
• Thawing: Never thaw food at room temperature. Thaw food in the fridge.
• Preparation: Always wash your hands with soap after touching raw meat. Don’t use the same knife or chopping board you used for raw meat.
• Storing: When storing food, don’t let cooked food cool to room temperature before putting it in the fridge.
