Fighting fit or frail figure?

Kate Middleton’s body has made more headlines than most Victoria’s Secret models, but opinions are divided. New bikini shots from her honeymoon have been released and experts and the public are talking – is the Duchess of Cambridge too thin?

The Dukan Diet in a nutshell:

Stage 1:
Known as the "Attack" phase, Protein Phase or Shock Phase lasts for five days. During this phase, one can eat any quantity of high protein, non fat items such as skim dairy products and lean meats. A tiny amount of oat bran and buckets of water are allowed.
This phase is designed to shock and awe the metabolic rate and jump start weight loss. While "attacking," it is forbidden to eat anything outside the accepted list of foods.

Stage 2:
The "Cruise" phase introduces some, but not all vegetables into the menu. Cruising means one will have "protein-only days" and days in which the protein-rich foods can be combined with a selection of 28 non starchy vegetables.
More oat bran and water are included during this phase.

Stage 3:
The "Consolidation" phase, begins when the goal weight is reached and lasts for 10 days per kilogram lost.

Stage 4:
Finally, dieters are allows two slices of bread, a serving of cheese, a serving of fruit and two servings of starchy carbs a day.
