With so many different washing powders at the supermarket, it's hard to know if you're really getting value for money. But A Current Affair can reveal the top performing brands at the best prices.

Canstar Blue has tested all the big brands — Cold Power, Radiant, Fab, Drive, OMO, Spree, Biozet Attack, Aldi Trimat and Coles. So what's the verdict?

First place: Biozet Attack ($10.49 per kg)

Second place: Aldi Trimat ($4)

Third place: OMO and Drive ($11.49 and $9.98)

Fourth place: Radiant ($5.32)

Fifth place: Coles washing powder ($4)
