This is the scene from outside Hobart Magistrates Court as a WIN television cameraman filmed a woman leaving.
Her boyfriend snuck around behind and sprayed a can all over him and his camera.
The unhappy cameraman then showed his displeasure at the soft drink shower and took the wind out of his sails.
Here's what WIN television had to say:
"WIN television does not condone violence or any physical confrontation even when provoked," a statement read.
"This altercation was an isolated incident investigated by police and the matter is now closed."
