Generation Z could shape up to be the age of entrepreneurs. The latest batch of teenagers mean business, and are reeling in the cash with their ideas.
The Fashionistas
Behind their bedroom doors, Lauren Fleuir and Monique Seymour are building their own fashion empire with their label, Amber Louise.
"We kind of inspire each other to make new things and push each other," they claim as their secret to success.
They wear the clothes they make and so do their friends - and they're soon to sell online.
At the moment the girls are still building their website, so we have no link – but be sure to keep a lookout for the Amber Louise brand online in the future.
The Dance Guru
Katie Griffiths put her talent on the dance floor into good use and she is now the dance instructor, teaching others what she loves doing.
"I went to high school obviously and just got more involved in the hip hop world… became more intrigued by it all, started classes at the dance studio and here I am," she says.
"I've done an extensive lot of background work, getting backstage work, volunteering at events, getting promotional work, so getting involved in the community in general and from there it's just kind of skyrocketed for me, I'm just very lucky."
The Marketing Whizz
Ryan Djurovich is running his own online marketing company. He puts his success down to knowledge, perseverance and hard work.
Ryan coordinates Facebook advertising, manages campaigns on twitter and facilitates e-commerce sites.
"If you want to get something you have to work very hard for it. That is what I do and it is working for me," he says.
"If you know your industry, you know your product, you know how to sell it - that's business."
Do it Yourself
So how can you turn your idea into reality?
Shane Wickens works at The Push an organisation that helps young people with bright ideas.
"They come in with a lot of energy and enthusiasm and great ideas and it is about harnessing that and pulling it together and making it something they can map their futures with," he says.
