Win a $15,000 natural makeover

Tue 14/07/09

The global financial crisis has not dampened Australia's appetite for cosmetic surgery.

Spending on procedures like Botox and laser hair removal has increased 15 percent over the last year to $345 million.

But a website founded by women for women could help you find effective natural alternatives to cosmetic surgery and save you from going under the knife at all.

Natice Fairburn has created website www.withoutsurgery.com.au

"We want to build a social network for women so they can say 'I'm a without surgery person'," she says.

"It's not an advertising platform. This site is an authentic site to tell women that we've tried and tested something and it does work so you should try and test it yourself."

Three thousand women have already joined the website where members can post their unedited feedback on treatments that they believe don’t work, or are a waste of money.

Without Surgery is on the hunt for an ambassador willing to speak to the public about their conditions and self esteem.

If you're a brave female prepared to bare your soul and body, now is your chance to win a $15,000 makeover — the natural way.

The three makeover winners will road test a range of treatments including a non-evasive face lift, a lipo massage, — which claims to offer a safer and more effective alternative to liposuction — and a power plate exercise machine which uses vibrating technology.

For more information on how to enter, go to the Win a New You competition on the Without Surgery website.
