An unholy row is brewing in the Melbourne suburb of Chadstone where two neighbours are at odds over a giant crucifix erected in a front yard.
The official response from the Department of Human Services's
Office of Housing -
"The Office of Housing is committed to residents' peaceful enjoyment of
their property and has inspected the site after receiving an enquiry
from a neighbour. The cross is on the tenanted property of the person
who is renting it and not on the neighbours' property. We have also
spoken to the tenant who has explained his personal reasons for the
cross. No further action will be taken."
