Chris has had two stints at A Current Affair, first in 1988 when the program was launched and now since March 2005.
He's also worked for Nine's Today program, Channel Seven's Today Tonight and the ABC's The 7.30 Report and national news.
After studying acting for a year at Sydney's National Institute of Dramatic Art with the likes of Mel Gibson and Judy Davis, Chris took up a cadetship at Queensland Newspapers on The Courier-Mail.
After three years on that paper and after studying for an Arts degree majoring in Journalism at The University of Queensland, Chris was offered a job as a television reporter.
Since then he has reported on everything from consumer issues to international events, including the last coup in Fiji, the tsunami in New Guinea, the September 11 disaster, civil unrest in Indonesia and the Bali Nine drug arrests.
In 2003 Chris won a Queensland Media Award for Best Current Affairs story when he exposed how easy it was to buy drugs across the bar from staff in hotels, bars and nightclubs. In 2000 Chris was a national finalist in the United Nations World Environment Day media awards for a story he did on an Australian company cleaning up a mine disaster in southern Europe.
While working for the State-based edition of Today Tonight Chris worked as a reporter, producer and presenter ... sometimes all in the one day.
Now based in Queensland, Chris has also worked in Sydney and Perth.
