ACA went backstage with Human Nature just minutes before the first show of their Australian tour.
Australia's most successful vocal group are back, bigger and better than ever before.
"Being on the road is the best thing we get to do - because you release records - and do all those things - but its all about coming together and putting on a great show - and that's what we got together to do," Andrew said.
It's hard to believe these extraordinary four voices first sang together - eighteen years ago.
Brothers Andrew and Mike Tierney, Phil Burton and Toby Allen went from school boys wearing boater hats and braces to be the biggest selling vocal group in the country.
Just when you'd expect most bands to break up - and go their separate ways Human Nature re-invented themselves, returning to where it all began - with the magic of Motown.
"We've gone through the telling everybody and the boy band phase - as you said - but now we're showing everyone how we got to where we are and that's by listening to this type of music. It really kind of suits us in a way, Phil Tierney
Toby Allen agrees.
"We've been waiting 18 years to wear ruffles and shiny black shoes," he said.
The move to Motown has proven to be gold or rather, platinum for Human Nature.
Human Nature's last two albums have gone nine times platinum.
The fans might be a little older - but tonight - they're all on their feet - loving every minute of this high energy show.
"We've just pulled out all stops for this show - thought we're in the round, we're in the arena - so it's got to be big really," Phil said.
Despite their success, and the album sales Human Nature only won their first ARIA award last year.
"I don't really think we're quite the darlings of the ARIA scene - but you know, that's not a problem at all for us, because the ARIA that we did win last year is the ARIA that counts for us - and that's the one that's voted by the public by them going out and buying the record," Phil said.
Andrew says the band is showing no signs of slowing down.
"We said thank you fans for the first 18 years - and we'll see you for the next 18 - so who knows!"
